Everyone at Pleasure Valley are saying there prayers for the Plavi Family wishing Dave the very best to get weel soon

The single engine Piper Cherokee plane went down around 6:30 last night (SUNDAY 4TH) in a wooded area of White Township about a half mile from the Jimmy Stewart Airport.

Peters says Goldinger was on a sightseeing trip at the time

of the crash. Family members at the airport say Goldinger

was flying with his son and a friend at the time of the crash.

Airport Manager Todd Heming says conditions deteriorated

after Goldinger's plane took off. He says there was heavy

fog last night as well as a light rain. He says Goldinger made

several unsuccessful attempts to land and when they didn't

hear from him they worried that he may have crashed.

FAA officials say the plane was completely destroyed

and the tail was severed from the aircraft. Goldinger and

his two passengers were taken to Conemaugh Memorial

Hospital in Johnstown.

David Plavi was a passenger on that plane. Rich from Switchback & Danny McAdoo have called with some information on this terrible accident. David is still in a Conemaugh or Indiana Hospital and not able to be moved to a Pittsburgh Hospital until he is stabilized. From what Danny has said is that David has received some very bad injuries. The Plavis are in need of many prayers and thoughts going out for David and his family. Danny will be keeping us updated on David's condition.

Pleasure Valley Raceway Weekend Report

American Suzuki MDRA Pro Am Championship Series

Presented by Cernic’s Racing & Dunlop Tires

$5000. Was up for grabs and 1 rider had his mind on it.

McKeesport Pa’s Brian Shuckhart dominated Pleasure

Valley this weekend winning 3 out of 4 Pro Am 20 minute

moto’s. Shuckhart riding a Ghost Inc RM250 2 Stroke did

not win hands down for Ashlee Woskob kept him in play

for all 20 minutes and in the final moto of the day Woskob

got the lead and never looked back. Charlie’s Cycle Ben

Ritter had a great day but bad starts kept him from being

a contender all day Ritter’s lap times were with the leaders

but Shuckhart and Woskob had already checked out other

than the final open moto when Ritter’s RMz450 launched

off the starting gate in 3rd passed for 2nd and battled Woskob & Shuckhart for one of the most exciting races of the day.

Other great races were 250 B wh

ere Garret Toth and Dylan Slusser traded moto wins in a battle that lasted all day long with Slusser winning 3 out of the 4 motos of great racing with these riders. Toth didn’t stop with Slusser as Ohio’s Shawn Rife Battled Toth in the Schoolboy class where they both traded moto wins with Toth winning the 2nd moto to take the overall win.

Pleasure Valley getting ready for American Suzuki / MDRA Pro Am Championship Series Presented by Cernic's Racing & Dunlop Tires.

More Changes to the track for the Pro Am Event, Track Builder Jeff Ellenberger says no big changes for this weekend but we are making a few changes to some of the turns and adding some more sand and sawdust so we get some more lines in the turns and hopefully it will hold the mosture to hold the dust off.

Ellenberger also said we have removed some more trees so the viewing of the track will be much better throughout the track.

Look for more changes to PVR's track before the Final Race in September.
